Zusammenfassung
In der Kinderanästhesie dürfte die dominierende Rolle der Inhalationsnarkose unbestritten sein. Sie zeichnet sich durch komplikationsarme Ein- und Ausleitung sowie gute Steuerbarkeit aus. Dabei verdrängte zu Beginn der 60er Jahre Halothan weitgehend alle übrigen Inhalationsnarkotika.
