Abstract

A professional classification program package for IBM-PC has been developed. It consists of two parts. The first part stands for data edit, data preprocessing and multivariate cluster test. The second part is the classification itself. This program includes three different classifiers: Bayes, weighted vector difference, and kNN-classifier. The first step is a “learn process” by means of mean value vectors, covariance matrices etc. The second step classifies a new object to one of the learn-classes or rejects it. The program processing is fully menu driven. Classification of body surface potential maps demonstrate the performance of this package.
