Zusammenfassung

Eine plausible Theorie zur Ätiologie und Pathogenese der Gallengangsatresie muß viele Aspekte zusammenfassen können. Nur wenige klinische Beobachtungen kehren konstant und vollständig wieder. Gallengangsatresien scheinen das fortgeschrittene Stasium eines dynamischen Prozesses darzustellen, der nur bei Neugeborenen und Säuglingen vorkommt.
