Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff „hepatische Enzephalopathie“ beschreibt alle neuropsychiatrischen Syndrome, die bei akuten oder chronischen Lebererkrankungen auftreten können. Die hepatische Enzephalopathie ist kein einheitliches Krankheitsbild, ein genaueres Verständnis ihrer Pathogenese and eine etablierte Therapie sind in weiter Ferne.
