Zusammenfassung
Eine aktuelle Abweichung des Blut-pH unter 7,36 bzw. über 7,44 wird als Azidämie bzw. Alkämie bezeichnet. Die Azidose ist als eine pathophysiologische Störung definiert, die dahin tendiert, der Körperflüssigkeit Säuren zuzuführen oder Basen zu entfernen. Die Alkalose ist als pathophysiologische Störung definiert, in der der Körperflüssigkeit Säuren entfernt bzw. Basen zugeführt werden. Hieraus folgt, daß eine Azidose bzw. eine Alkalose nicht zwingend mit einer Azidämie bzw. Alkämie einhergeht.
