Bei einer Vermehrung der Erythrozytenzahl bzw. des Hämatokrits sind differentialdiagnostisch ge-geneinander abzugrenzen:

  • Pseudopolyglobulie (Pseudoerythrozytose oder re-lative Erythrozytose),

  • Polyglobulie (absolute Erythrozytose)

  • Polycythaemia rubra vera.
