Summary
This paper discusses a knowledge based media planning system that we are developing. The system is designed to operate at a number of levels. At one level it operates as a decision support system while at another level it operates as a a pure expert system. The operation of the system at the decision support level is presented along with a discussion of how knowledge will be added to the system so it will operate as an expert system.
