Abstract
The absence of lymphatic capillaries from dif ferent tissues (brain, bone marrow, retina, superficial endometrium) has been shown in various species. This absence produces the problem of the clearance of interstitial proteins and fluid in these tissues (Lauweryns and Cornillie 1984).
