Zusammenfassung

Die Leber besitzt eine bemerkenswerte Fähigkeit zur Regeneration. Bei chronisch aktiver Hepatitis kann man Anzeichen einer Autoimmunerkrankung beobachten, während gleichzeitig die Regenerationsfähigkeit merklich reduziert ist. Dies läßt daran denken, daß die Leberregeneration vielleicht mit immunologischen Veränderungen im Organismus in einem Zusammenhang steht. Deshalb haben wir vorerst die celluläre Immunantwort im Verlauf der Leberregeneration untersucht.
