Zusammenfassung
Intensivpatienten weisen häufig eine gestörte Immunitatslage auf. Neben einer Verminderung in der humoralen Immunität ist bei diesen Patienten eine reduzierte zelluläre Immunantwort mitverantwortlich für die hohe Infektanfälligkeit und für die daraus resultierenden Komplikationen, wie z.B. eine Sepsis [1]. Eine genaue Kenntnis der zellulären Immundefekte ist daher Voraussetzung für eine sinnvolle immunrestaurative Therapie.
