Zusammenfassung
Quo vadis CT? — Prinzipiell müßte die Beantwortung dieser Frage für die Neuro-radiologie am einfachsten sein. Die Einführung der Computertomographie hat die Indikation der Untersuchungsmethoden in der neuroradiologischen Diagnostik sofort umfassend mit dem Ersatz der Pneumo- und Ventrikulographie sowie durch die Einschränkung der Angiographie verändert. Diese Umformung besteht am längsten und erfuhr erst durch die Kernspintomographie eine Modifikation, wobei deren Indikationsstellung neuroradiologisch im wesentlichen bereits abgegrenzt ist. Schließlich müssen Betrachtungen zum gegenwärtigen und zukünftigen Stellenwert der Untersuchungstechniken im Vergleich zu anderen radiologischen Fachrichtungen nur eine kleinere Methodenpalette berücksichtigen, besonders infolge des begrenzten Anwendungsbereiches der Ultraschallgeräte und der Angiographie.
