Zusammenfassung
Koronarchirurgie bildet einen etablierten Teil der Behandlung der koronaren Herzkrankheit (KHK) seit Anfang der 70er Jahre. Die Technik der aortokoronaren Bypassoperation (ACBP) wurde verfeinert und standardisiert, die neueren Methoden des intraoperativen Myokardschutzes haben das Operationsrisiko stark reduziert und die großen randomisierten Studien haben den Wert der Koronarchirurgie nicht nur zur Linderung der Symptomatik, sondern auch zur Verlängerung des Lebens dokumentiert [3, 5, 6].
