SE- und STE-Sequenzen und Gd-DTPA bei Tumoren des Muskel- und Skelettsystems

Zusammenfassung

Sowohl an den Extremitäten als auch am Körperstamm lokalisierte Tumoren des Muskel- und Skelettsystems sind dank der Einführung der Röntgen-Computertomographie (CT) darstellbar und damit diagnostizierbar geworden. Lokalisation, Ausdehnung und Größe, die Beziehung zu benachbarten Geweben und Organen und die Tumorbinnenstruktur sind im allgemeinen im computertomographischen Schnittbild zu bestimmen. Somit wird die Stadieneinteilung und Planung der adäquaten Therapie von Tumoren des Bewegungsapparates durch die CT in erheblichem Umfang mitbestimmt [7].
