Zusammenfassung

Der 32P-Test („Radiophosphortest“) wurde erstmals 1952 von Thomas et al. [67] in die Diagnostik von malignen intraokularen Tumoren eingeführt. Scine Anwendung beruht auf der Tatsache, daß der Betastrahler 32P von malignen Zellen vermehrt und länger gespeichert wird als von gesunden Zellen. Somit kann durch den Nachweis einer erhöhten Speicherung von radioaktivem Phosphor in einem tumorverdächtigen Areal die Diagnose eines malignen Tumors erhärtet werden.
