Zusammenfassung
Depressionen treten als häufigste psychische Störungen bei M. Parkinson auf. Die Häufigkeitsangaben schwanken zwischen 25 und 48%. Es ist bislang unklar, ob die Depression durch die fortschreitende Akinese reaktiv verursacht wird oder als integraler Teil des Krankheitsprozesses anzusehen ist, worauf die morphologischen Befunde hinweisen und wofür die Neurotransmitterveränderungen sprechen (Birk-mayer 1982; Fischer 1984; Rabins 1982; Taylor et al. 1986; Vogel 1982).
