Zusammenfassung
Seit einigen Jahrzehnten ist bekannt, daß die Bewegungen des Nackens Einfluß auf die Augenmotilität ausüben. Bereits Baràny und Voss stellten sie an Neugeborenen und de Kleijn an Kaninchen fest [3, 37,18]. Eine längere Drehung des Nakkens führt zu anhaltender kompensatorischer Augendeviation, die nur durch Nystagmusschläge unterbrochen wird. Auch bei Erwachsenen verursacht die Kopfdrehung Augenbewegungen, jedoch nur bei Patienten, deren Augen geschlossen sind oder bei denjenigen, die in Dunkelheit untersucht werden [5, 6, 9, 10, 16, 17].
