Zusammenfassung

Die von Kaznelson 1916 [14] inaugurierte Behandlung der chronischen idiopathischen Thrombozytopenie durch Splenektomie führt bei 61–95% der Patienten zu einer Dauerheilung. Die Splenektomie gilt in diesen Fällen bei Versagen konservativer Therapiemaßnahmen als die Behandlungsmethode der Wahl.
