Zusammenfassung

Neurologische Komplikationen bei AIDS kommen in einer Häufigkeit von 23 bis 40% vor (Koppel et al. 1985; Levy et al. 1985). In größeren Autopsieserien wurde aber mit über 70% ein wesentlich häufigerer Befall des Nervensystems nachgewiesen (Moskowitz et al. 1984). Neurologische Ausfälle können sich isoliert oder in Kombination im zentralen oder peripheren Nervensystem manifestieren.
