Zusammenfassung
Die HNO-Klinik der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover entschloß sich 1983, das Cochlear Implant nach Clark/NUCLEUS zu übernehmen. Im Jahr 1984 wurden die ersten Patienten mit diesem System versorgt; inzwischen sind mehr als 40 Patienten in Hannover implantiert.
