Interferons in Oncology

Part of the book series: ESO Monographs ((ESO MONOGRAPHS))

Abstract

It seems likely that the most effective uses of interferons (IFNs) in cancer will come in combination with other treatment modalities (1). The interactions between IFNs and many cytotoxic drugs have been extensively studied in experimental cancer systems using both in vivo and in vitro models.
