Abstract
In reconstructions of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) for chronic instabilities of the knee joint autogenous materials provide enough strength and firmness for ligament substitutes. The advantages of the method described are that a large enough graft of the rectus muscle tendon is obtained for ligament replacement, and the implant is firmly anchored with the help of a bone graft.
