Möglichkeiten der sonographischen Tumordiagnostik in der Gynäkologie

Zusammenfassung

Mehr noch als im Bereich der Geburtshilfe können bei der gynäkologischen Sonographie Trugbilder auftreten, die zu Verwechslungen und Fehldiagnosen führen. So können Darmschlingen — häufig zusammen mit Aszites — bizarre Muster ergeben, die sogar an fetale Strukturen denken lassen und im Falle einer 65jährigen hysterektomierten Patientin einen Kollegen zur Verdachtsdiagnose Extrauteringravidität irreleiteten (Abb. 1). In anderen Fällen wurde das Bild einer Beckenniere als Ovarialtumor gedeutet (Abb. 2).
