Kurzfassung
Vorgestellt wird die Realisierung eines Archivs auf der Basis des Client/Server-Konzepts. In einem Netz von Arbeitsplatzrechnern können mit Hilfe des Archivs Dokumente zentral verwaltet werden. Aus Datenschutzgründen wurde besonderer Wert auf den Einbau umfangreicher Zugriffsschutzmechanismen gelegt. Obwohl die Verwaltungsdaten als Relationen angelegt sind, erwies sich der Einsatz eines Relationalen Datenbanksystems als nicht effektiv.
Abstract
The implementation of an archives based on the client/server concept is presented. The archives supplies a central management of documents in a net of workstations. Much emphasis was laid on extensive mechanisms for access control. The use of a relational data base system turned out to be inefficient although the management data are structured as relations.
