General Techniques for the Internal Fixation of Small Fractures

Abstract

The basic techniques of the ASIF are described in detail in the Manual of Internal Fixation. Because these techniques are essential for understanding rigid internal fixation, and because they may be unfamiliar to some surgeons, it is appropriate to review them briefly here (Figs. 16–21).
