Teratoma, Uterus, Rat

Teratomas are well-encapsulated tumors with smooth surfaces (Fig. 135). The cut surface reveals cysts of various sizes filled with a clear, gelatinous, mucinous, or keratohyaline substance with varying amounts of solid tissue in between. Islands of cartilage and bone are often present.
