Myokardrevaskularisation und Koronarangioplastie sind heutzutage nicht mehr als miteinander konkurrierende Verfahren anzusehen, stellen also keine Alternative mehr dar, sondern nach reichlicher Überlegung und Abwägung aller diagnostischen Faktoren wird von Kardiologen und Kardiochirurgen dem Patienten die Entscheidung für die eine oder die andere Intervention nahegelegt.
