Zusammenfassung
Nitrovasodilatatoren gelten als Standardtherapeutika zur Behandlung verschiedener kardiovaskulärer Erkrankungen. Hierzu zählt im wesentlichen die Koronare Herzkrankheit, welche mit atherosklerotischen Veränderungen in der Koronarzirku-lation einhergeht. Der therapeutische Wert Organischer Nitrate beruht auf deren vasorelaxierenden Wirkungen. Dies führt über eine Vorlastsenkung zu einem verminderten kardialen Sauerstoffverbrauch und über eine Dilatation konstriktiver Koronararterien auch zu einer Verbesserung des Sauerstoffangebotes. Organische Nitrate sind sogenannte „Prodrugs“, denn sie werden in der glatten Muskelzelle der Gefäßwand zu Stickstoffmonoxid (NO), ihrem eigentlichen Wirkprinzip, verstoff-wechselt [1, 2, 31.
