Abstract
In as much as 25% of the patients with critical limb ischemia, the vascular surgeon does not dispose of an adequate autologous saphenous vein, due to previous periphlebitis, surgical removal, vein stripping or too small caliber. Many of those patients have been operated on before and have extensive occlusive disease involving femoropopliteal and crural arteries.
