Abstract

Chronic and limb-threatening peripheral occlusive vascular disease in the elderly, debilitated patient is a challenge to the vascular surgeon who today must master a variety of interventional and alternative surgical techniques. During the past decade the practice patterns to various treatment options (surgical spectrum) have markedly changed.
