Zusammenfassung
Der Wunsch nach dem „Leim des Lebens“ ist so alt wie die Menschheit. Fortschritte der Chemie haben zur Entwicklung verschiedenster technischer Klebstoffe geführt. Wenn man den Prospekt eines namhaften Herstellers technischer Kleber durchblättert, dann gibt es für die Verbindung von Metallen, Keramik, Gummi und Kunststoffen miteinander und untereinander immer den richtigen Klebstoff! Auch beim Bau von Automobilen und Flugzeugen kann heute zur Verbindung hochbelasteter Werkstoffe auf den Einsatz von Klebstoffen nicht mehr verzichtet werden. Die Entwicklung neuer Werkstoffe erfordert maßgeschneiderte Klebstoffe, - eine Herausforderung, die von Chemikern sehr ernst genommen wird (22, 39, 54, 62).
