Summary
A retrospective analysis was performed to analyze the late results of reconstructive vascular surgery of the aortoiliacal segment. Between January 1979 and May 1991 1571 operations of the aortoiliacal arteries were carried out in 1373 patients. In addition to an analysis of the important risk factors, the typical early- and late complications of aortoiliacal surgery are discussed. The cumulative success rate was 90.3% after 5 years, and 82.8% after 10 years. About 50% of all patients were able to work again.
Zusammenfassung
In einer retrospektiven Analyse werden die Spätergebnisse nach gefäßchirurgischen Rekonstruktionen im aortoiliakalen Bereich analysiert, die zwischen Januar 1979 und Mai 1991 vorgenommen wurden. Es wurden bei insgesamt 1373 Patienten 1571 Operationen im aortoiliakalen Bereich durchgeführt. Neben einer Analyse der beteiligten Risikofaktoren werden typische Früh- und Spätkomplikationen gegenübergestellt. Die kumulative Offenrate beträgt 90,3 Prozent nach 5 Jahren und 82,8 Prozent nach 10 Jahren. Die Hälfte aller Patienten wurde wieder arbeitsfähig.
