Protheseninfektion nach aortoiliakofemoralen Rekonstruktionen

Wundinfektionen in der Gefäßchirurgie

Zusammenfassung

Im Zeitraum von 1965 bis 1989 haben wir nach der Implantation von 1544 Dacronprothesen im aortoiliakofemoralen Bereich 16 tiefe Protheseninfektionen beobachtet (1,04%). Die einzelnen Rekonstruktionsverfahren sind Tabelle 1 zu entnehmen. Abbildung 1 vermittelt das vorgefundene Erregerspektrum, wobei eindeutig Staphylococcus aureus als dominanter Keim eruiert werden konnte. In Spätphasen der tiefen Protheseninfektionen sind Mischinfektionen häufiger aufgetreten, Monobesiedelung war dann eher als Ausnahme zu registrieren.
