Zusammenfassung

Seit 1980 wird die extrakorporale Stoßwellentherapie in der klinischen Urologie eingesetzt (1). Eine besonders interessante Weiterentwicklung dieser Geräte stellen die piezoelektrischen Lithotriptoren dar (3,4,5). Die Effektivität und Praktikabilität dieser Geräteart in der Nierensteinbehandlung und auch im Hinblick auf Reststeine wurde untersucht.
