Zusammenfassung
Maligne Hodentumoren haben nur einen kleinen Anteil an allen männlichen Krebserkrankungen (ca. 1 bis 2 %). Den Löwenanteil der Hodentumoren stellen die malignen Keimzelltumoren (über 90 %). Die restlichen 5 bis 10 % entfallen auf folgende Nichtkeimzelltumoren:
-
- die Stromazelltumoren (leiten sich von den Sertoli- und Leydig-Zellen ab)
-
- maligne Lymphome („beidseitige“ Hodentumoren!)
-
- Sarkome
-
- Fibrome
-
- Leiomyome
-
- Metastasen anderer Primärtumoren.
