Farnolith®, ein Granulat, das sich zur Zeit in klinischer Prüfung befindet, besteht aus verschiedenen Ballaststoffen, Weizen-, Malz- und Sojakleie sowie Guarkernmehl. Diese Ballaststoffe enthalten vor allem Zellulose, Hemizellulosen, Uronsäure und quellfähige Pflanzengummis.
