Die Bedeutung des Zigarettenrauchens als Risikofaktor und der Raucherentwöhnung als Präventionsfaktor der koronaren Herzkrankheit

Zusammenfassung

Die Hauptrisikofaktoren für die Entwicklung einer koronaren Herzkrankheit hängen wesentlich vom Gesundheitsverhalten oder der Lebensweise eines Menschen ab und sind somit auch verhinderbar bzw. veränderbar. Epstein (9) ist der Ansicht, daß mindestens 50% der vorzeitigen Fälle von koronarer Herzkrankheit durch einen konsequenten Abbau der Risikofaktoren verhütbar wären.
