Zusammenfassung
Kristallisationsinhibitoren der Kalziumoxalatbildung unterschiedlicher Natur werden seit vielen Jahren als Risikofaktoren der Harnsteinbildung diskutiert. Hierbei wird der Stellenwert der einzelnen Substanzen für die Steinbildung kontrovers beurteilt. Während z.B. Robertson et. al. (1) vor allem die Substanzgruppe der hochmolekularen Glycosaminoglycane als wirksamste Hemmstoffe der CaOx-Kristallisation ansehen, läßt sich nach Sutor die Hemmaktivität des Harns im wesentlichen durch die niedermolekularen Substanzen Zitrat, Isozitrat und Pyrophosphat erklären (2).
