Zusammenfassung
Spurenelemente spielen in biologischen Systemen eine wichtige Rolle und sind als essentielle Spurenelemente an den verschiedensten Funktionen im Körper beteiligt. Alle Spurenelemente, auch essentielle, haben jedoch ab einem bestimmten Schwellenwert im Körper eine toxische Wirkung insbesondere Arsen, Kadmium, Quecksilber, Blei und Antimon.
