So wird eine Zelle, die Antikörper gegen Tetanustoxoid bildet dann Fluoreszein-konjugierte Anti-Tetanus-Antikörper binden, wenn sie zuvor mit dem Antigen inkubiert wurde, wodurch sie im Fluoreszenzmikroskop sichtbar gemacht werden kann.
