Zusammenfassung

Die thrombolytische Behandlung tiefer Bein und Beckenvenenthrombosen ist heute gut etabliert und wird relativ breit angewandt. Die biochemischen Voraussetzungen für diese Therapie, die Methoden für ihre Überwachung, die Kontraindikationen und die Erfolgsaussichten sind aufgrund zahlreicher klinischer Studien bekannt. Es ist aber noch umstritten, bis zu welchem Zeitpunkt nach Auftritt einer Venenthrombose diese Therapie sinnvoll ist. Offen ist auch, unter welchen Bedingungen Urokinase oder Streptokinase das besser geeignete thrombolytische Medikament sind, abgesehen von den erheblich unterschiedlichen Kosten der beiden Fibrino-lyseaktivatoren.
