Femtosecond time-resolved experiments in atomic calcium in weak and strong laser fields

Abstract

We have investigated the two-valence electron atom calcium by employing femtosecond ion and photoelectron pump-probe spectroscopy. The radial Rydberg wave packet dynamics as well as multiphoton multiple ionization involving autoionizing states have been observed.
