Zusammenfassung
Das Thromboserisiko von Frauen, die orale Kontrazeptiva (OC) einnehmen, ist in verschiedenen Studien, welche verschiedene Methoden zum Nachweis der venösen Thrombose benutzten, unterschiedlich. Nichtsdestotrotz ist bekannt, daß OC das Risiko einer tiefen Beinvenenthrombose und möglicherweise letaler und nichtletaler pulmonaler Embolien erhöhen. Die Studienlage ist auch deswegen schwierig zu beurteilen, da bei Frauen, die OC einnehmen, bei Beinbeschwerden häufiger eine weitergehende Thrombosediagnostik durchgeführt wurde, als bei Frauen, die keine einnehmen [1, 16]. Außerdem ist bis jetzt unklar, inwieweit die Kollektive der Frauen, welche orale Kontrazeptiva einnehmen bzw. nicht einnehmen, oder die Kollektive, welche orale Kontrazeptiva unterschiedlicher Dosierung bzw. unterschiedlicher Gestagenanteile einnehmen, tatsächlich vergleichbar sind.
