Abstract
Talo-crural arthrodesis may give good short-and middle-term results, especially in osteoarthritis. In the long-term, sub-talar and mid-tarsal ar throses often complicate the results [1–4]. We therefore prefer ankle arthroplasty for some patients. Previous results of ankle arthroplasty have been dubious.
