Zusammenfassung

Der Ellbogen ist ein straffes Gelenk, das von zahlreichen wichtigen Strukturen umgeben ist, die die arthroskopische Exploration dieses Gelenkes lange Zeit verzögert haben. In seinen autoptischen Studien von 1931 erklärte Burman [8] die Arthroskopie des Ellbogens wegen der zu großen Strukturdichte für nicht wünschenswert und bestätigte, daß ein vorderer Zugang außer Diskussion stehe.
