Zusammenfassung

Pathologische Dissoziation ist in der ICD-10 konzeptualisiert als eine Störung der integrativen Funktion von Identität, Gedächtnis und Bewußtsein. Die Entwicklung dissoziativer Störungen bei Kindern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen wird auf traumatische Erfahrungen der Betroffenen zurückgeführt, die in Verbindung mit einer bestimmten genetischen Disposition sowie biologischen und sozialen Entwicklungseinflüssen zur Ausbildung einer vulnerablen Persönlichkeit mit den externalen Dimensionen der Dissoziation führen. In zahlreichen Studien wurden sexueller und körperlicher Mißbrauch sowie emotionale und elterliche Vernachlässigung als deutliche Einflußfaktoren dissoziativer Identitätsstörungen festgestellt. Zur Untersuchung der Beziehung zwischen solchen Kindheitstraumen und Persönlichkeitsstörungen, die sich hauptsächlich in erhöhter allgemeiner Psychopathologie, in Störungen von Gedächtnis und Kognition, beeinträchtigter Impulskontrolle und Affektsteuerung sowie in Störungen bei der Entwicklung/Konsolidierung eines einheitlichen Ich-Gefühls äußern, wurde in Heidelberg ein Selbst- und Fremdbeurteilungs aspekte umfassendes Inventar entwickelt. Auf dieser Grundlage wurde untersucht, ob spezifische traumatisierende Vorerfahrungen als Prädiktor für ein pathologisches Ausmaß an dissoziativem Erleben gelten können und ob ein Zusammenhang zwischen traumatischen Lebensereignissen und der Ausbildung eines negativen Selbstkonzepts hergestellt werden kann.
