Zusammenfassung
Die heterotope Pankreastransplantation stellt bis heute die einzige kurative Therapie des Diabetes mellitus Typ I dar. Ihre Anwendung ist aber aufgrund der anschließend lebenslang notwendigen Immunsuppression und den teilweise pankreasspezifischen und schweren Komplikationen bisher nur ausgewählten Patienten vorbehalten [10]. Eine bedeutende Komplikation ist dabei die frühe und späte Transplantatpankreatitis [2]. Dabei wird für die frühe Form der Transplantatpankreatitis, die in ca. 35% der Fälle in unterschiedlich schwerer Ausprägung auftritt [2] und häufig Reinterventionen bedingt [3], heute im allgemeinen neben dem chirurgischen Trauma vor allem der Ischämie-/Reperfusionsschaden verantwortlich gemacht [2, 8].
