Zusammenfassung
Ein Gen, das bei der Vermittlung apoptotischer Signale nach genotoxischer Schädigung von Bedeutung ist, ist das Tumorsuppressorgen p53 [5]. Bcl-2 ist ein 25 kDa schweres membranständiges Protein, das in der äußeren Mitochondrienmembran, dem Endoplasmatischen Retikulum und der Zellkernmembran lokalisiert ist [2]. Von diesem Protoonkogen wurde gezeigt, daß es sowohl in einer Reihe von experimentellen Modellen p53 vermittelte Apoptose hemmen kann. Über die molekularen Grundlagen der bcl-2 Funktion ist jedoch wenig bekannt. In dieser Studie sollen die molekularen Zusammenhänge der Hemmung p53 induzierter Apoptose durch bcl-2 untersucht werden.
