Der Morbus Menière ist kein eigenständiges Krankheitsbild!Der Begriff Morbus Menière ist ein Synonym für einen Symptomenkomplex, der die unspezifische Antwort auf eine multifaktorielle Innenohrerkrankung darstellt. Es wird empfohlen, den irreführenden Begriff des Morbus Menière künftig durch den Begriff „Menière — Symptomenkomplex bzw. Menière — Syndrom“ zu ersetzen.
