Abstract
Synthesis of prostaglandins (PCs) has been implicated in many aspects of cancer growth and development. In particular, experimental evidence indicates that PGs are involved in tumour osteolysis and development of bone metastases, in the interaction with the anti-tumour effects and toxicity of cytotoxic chemotherapy, and in cell replication, tumour development and growth.
