Zusammenfassung

Als Streßläsionen werden Epitheldefekte der Magen- und/oder Duodenalschleimhaut bezeichnet, welche innerhalb weniger Stunden nach einer schweren Noxe (Streß) wie Verbrennung, Polytrauma, Sepsis, große operative Eingriffe oder Apoplexie entstehen. Die Schleimhautdefekte können entweder in Form multipler Erosionen (oberflächliche Läsionen bis zur Muscularis mucosae) oder als einzelne der multiple Ulzera (tiefe Defekte bis unter die Muscularis mucosae) bestehen. Bei Verbrennungen, Polytrauma und Sepsis wurde ndoskopisch eine Inzidenz von 80–100% gefunden (Tabelle 13).
